Additionally, I assist with product photography, capturing high-quality merchandise images to enhance marketing materials.
Time:
Fall2024 - Sping2025
Role:
Graphic Design Intern: Campaign Design, Merchandise Design, Illustration
Multiracial Heritage Month (MHM)2025
Year: Spring2025
Role: Illustration, Layout, Visual
Tool: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate
For Multiracial Heritage Month 2025 at the University of Maryland, I developed a campaign featuring customized posters and social media deliverables. The client, the Multicultural Involvement & Community Advocacy (MICA)department, requested an illustration based on their chosen theme, "Juice Box," symbolizing different countries and cultures. This project aimed to visually celebrate diversity and inclusion through vibrant and engaging design.

Challenge
One challenge I faced during this project was effectively incorporating diverse cultural elements into a cohesive jukebox illustration. Balancing representation while maintaining a visually appealing and universally recognizable design required extensive research and creative problem-solving.
Solution
-
Research & Motif Library – I gathered simple, widely recognized cultural symbols (e.g., iconic textiles, landmark silhouettes, national fruit/flora). I redrew them in the same rounded, flat style to avoid stereotypes or unequal emphasis.
-
Limited “Flavor Palette” – Every juice box shares one base color family (sun‑lit oranges and teals) plus two accent hues drawn from each culture’s flag. This keeps the set cohesive while still signaling distinct identities.
This system let me showcase diversity while maintaining a clean, instantly readable illustration that feels like one family of juice boxes—celebrating many cultures in a single, harmonious design.

The Maryland Student Affairs Conference (MSAC) 2025: Leading with Heart
Year: Spring2025
Role: Illustration, Layout, Visual
Tool: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate
For the Maryland Student Affairs Conference (MSAC) 2025, I designed a logo and promotional materials incorporating the "Leading with Heart" theme with a Maryland and Valentine’s Day aesthetic. The design features iconic Maryland symbols such as the Terrapin, Black-Eyed Susans, and Heart Candy, blending creativity with state pride.

Challenge:
One of the main challenges of this design was balancing multiple symbolic elements while maintaining a cohesive and visually appealing composition. Incorporating the Maryland flag, state symbols, and Valentine’s Day theme without overwhelming the design required careful placement and simplification.
This sketch represents the initial concept for the Maryland Student Affairs Conference (MSAC) 2025 design, themed "Leading with Heart." The composition blends Maryland pride with a Valentine’s Day aesthetic, incorporating key state symbols like the Terrapin, Black-Eyed Susans, an Oriole, a Blue Crab, and the Maryland flag.
